For 12 years, WFX has provided specialized education in the areas of facilities, technology, communications and worship, and the conference sessions are always complemented by moving, relevant keynote addresses.
A singer, songwriter, worship leader, author and three-time Dove Award winner, Baloche has devoted his career not only to music, but to leading and teaching others.
His keynote, titled “Building God’s House”, is based on the mandate given in Chronicles for tradesmen, musicians and gatekeepers to work together to build a house for the name of the Lord. The talk will explore how teams can appreciate and understand one another’s roles and work together to live this commission out in present day.
Providing excellence in training and education for the entire church team is the fundamental goal of the WFX Conference & Expo 2017.
“We’re big on team attendance and the importance of cross-functional learning,” says WFX program manager, Beth Vinton. “Paul Baloche’s diverse experience and success as a teacher makes him a great fit for our cross-functional approach to team learning, making his message applicable for our entire conference audience.”
In addition to writing and performing, Baloche is dedicated to developing others.
“He’s a leader of leaders. That’s what we want for our attendees,” says Vinton.
As a songwriter, Baloche is best known for the contemporary hymns “Above All,” “A New Hallelujah,” “Open the Eyes of My Heart,” “Hosanna” and “Your Name”. He is also the author of “The Same Love: A Devotion” and “God Songs–How to Write and Select Songs for Worship”.
