Presented by Ralph Hicks (Tech Director, West Asheville Baptist Church)

The goal of this presentation is to provide a working knowledge of camera and crew, and to explore the various shots necessary to capture a live event for audio, video, and lights (AVL).

It will include terminology necessary to take and give direction, and to compose shots. With practice, you will be able to stay with your subject, anticipate their moves while staying properly framed and remaining in focus.

We will also explore methods of visualization and pulling everything together for a coherent message.
