The Worship Facilities Solomon Awards recognizes churches and their partners for excellence in facilities design, building expansion or remodeling, operation excellence, innovative use, and technical production.

Solomon Awards Waters Church
The AE Global Media team worked closely with Waters Church ministry team to develop a technology master plan that would enhance modern worship and create a more immersive worship environment. Transforming an old jewelry manufacturing facility into their new church was a adventurous and exciting project.

Solmon Awards Compass Christian Church
Compass Christian Church consisted of a 20,000 s.f. new satellite campus. The facility incorporated a 450 seat auditorium, large commons, indoor/outdoor coffee bar, children's area, open offices and a first steps area for new guests. This facility was the first satellite campus completed by Compass Christian.

Solomon Awards Eagles View Church
The construction of Eagles View Church consisted of 15,000 and associated site work. The facility includes a 300 seat worship room, large commons, cafe, children's classrooms, youth area and administrative offices. Construction came in on time and under budget with savings returned to the church.

The sanctuary, at the heart of Good Shepherd’s campus, received a much needed restoration and expansion as the congregation continues to build their beloved community.

Solomon Awards Milestone Church
Milestone Church in Keller, TX consisted of an 86,000 s.f tilt wall structure with associated site work. The facility consists of a 1600 seat worship room, large commons, children's, and administrative space. A large tubes play and cafe are situated in the commons for members and guest to enjoy.

Solomon Awards Westminster Presbyterian Church
Age, water damage, and being functionally obsolete required our team to rescue, redesign, and restore this sanctuary! The final project reoriented the sanctuary to reduce pedestrian travel through other areas, added a chapel, and reclaimed the previously unused narthex space - while maintaining a true reformed traditional architecture style.

Solomon Awards: Shepherd Church
Shepherd Church has about 8,000 members spread across 4 locations in Los Angeles, they brought in Visioneering Studios to evaluate previously designed construction costs, which led to a redesign of the facility. Visioneering was able to keep the 3,500 seat worship center with LED walls, a full kitchen, and café.

Solomon Awards Congregation Beth David
A major reconstruction and addition of a classic 1960's synagogue, to bring it into the 21st Century. This project involved the restoration of a few select elements of the building, and modernization of everything else, in order to create a modern, welcoming space.

Solomon Awards Waters Church
This 135,000 sq. ft. jewelry manufacturing plant built in the 1960's was repurposed. Phase 1 consisted of renovating over 40,000 sq. ft. It is now home to a 1000 seat auditorium , themed children's church, nursery rooms, and a large gathering area with an adjacent café'.

Solomon Awards: Hope Church - Spartanburg
An abandoned warehouse which was previously used to store and repair video gambling equipment is redeemed to provide ministry space for Hope Church, a non-denominational church in upstate South Carolina. McAbee Architects guided the church through the transformation process and achieved valuable ministry space for under $40 per square foot.

Solomon Awards: Ragamuffins Coffee House
Ragamuffins Coffee House was started by Redemption Community Church in a historic building in downtown Laurel, Maryland to create a welcoming place for the community and for fellowship. The building was redesigned to operate as a coffeehouse during the week and for the church to use for worship on Sundays.

Second Baptist Church - Cypress Campus
With a growing congregation, Second needed a new campus. The 77-acre campus features a technology-rich, state-of-the-art church that includes “worship in the round” to give all church-goers great views from any angle. The design was inspired by Texas vernacular, using natural limestone and exposed wood to create a welcoming environment.

Solomon Awards Brightmoor Christian Church
The expansion of Brightmoor Christian Church is a true reflection of their goal to break down barriers to Christ, become truly transparent, and extend unconditional acceptance. The building features a 2,100-seat worship center, dedicated kids and youth areas, gathering hub, and new entry experience highlighted by a 60-foot cross.

Solomon Awards Milestone Church
Milestone Church, in Keller, Texas, partnered with GFF Architects for the design of their new campus. The facility includes a Worship Center, large community gathering space, cafe, administration space and a children’s education wing located on a 52 acre site with direct access to a wooded greenbelt and walking trails.

Solomon Awards Oak Hills Church Crownridge
The Oak Hills Church of San Antonio, Texas, completed a major addition and remodeling effort at their Crownridge Campus consisting of a new 2,600-seat Worship Center and a repurposed Children’s Facility and Adult Education wing. RVK, Inc., did the Master Plan and was the designer for the $25 million project.

Since 1979, the Nightown club entertained young adults, including Eric and Darlene Partin. Now as pastors of Shoreline Church, their dream was to turn Nightown into a place that changes people's perception of church. Teaming with LIVE Design Group, their dream became a reality.

Victory Life Church recently finished a $6.9 million dollar building project that finished on time and on budget. Instead of focusing all attention on the worship center, we chose to focus on community building in the lobby, creating an environment that invites our members to linger long after the benediction.

Solomon Awards: Crosspointe Church
Crosspointe Church wanted community solutions rather than just a building. At Visioneering, we were honored to partner with them in re-designing their existing space and expanding with reuse in mind. From fitness classes to afterschool programs, Crosspointe’s space and partnership with the YMCA serve the community, 7 days a week.

West End Baptist Church, now West End Church, has been a fixture in the community for 109 years. Partnering with River Pointe Church to modernize the facilities, Studio Red upgraded the worship and educational centers, while maintaining the integrity and charm of the buildings carefully preserving the original design details.

Solomon Awards Harvest America Phoenix
Matrix Visual Solutions provided four-hundred seventy-six (476), 4.8mm, two-sided LED panels to create a huge, dual facing LED wall that was 56 feet-wide by 11.4 feet-tall. Greg Laurie, and Jordin Sparks this headline this evangelical event that was simulcast live with distribution reaching 174 countries and nearly 1 billion people

Solomon Awards Cliff Temple Baptist Church
A 120-year-old church connects with a thriving North Oak Cliff Urban community with a 9,000 sq-ft renovation of an existing Fellowship Hall to accommodate a new Contemporary worship service. The Shanks Architects designed renovation includes an adjacent Café that has become the connection hub for fellowship.

Solomon Awards New Life Church
New Life Church required a new, fresh and inviting identity for their old, tired and unwelcoming facility that reflected their mission of, "Helping People find and Follow Jesus," a place of refuge in the community. A beacon of light and hope was created where "New Life" and connections can begin.

Victory Life Church recently finished a $6.9 million dollar building project that finished on time and under budget, bringing the natural elements of the beautiful surroundings inside. Described as open, warm and friendly, the hallmark of the gathering space is the coffeehouse, where attention to detail rivals any hipster café.

Solomon Awards First Presbyterian Midland
First Presbyterian Church of Midland’s new amphitheater has created a new image for the church, showing that it is not just a place of worship on Sunday mornings, but a place for music, exhibitions, food trucks, weddings, funerals, celebrations and contemplation every day of the week.
